DreamEngine is a project planner and simulator for developing complex dreams.
A dream can be an artwork, a company, a platform, a movement, a production, a fictional system, or any project where many people, ideas, assets, processes, and consequences must work together.
DreamEngine maps the structure required to make a dream real.
It connects goals, people, roles, assets, tasks, dependencies, decisions, resources, and development paths inside one coherent system.
Instead of treating a project as a collection of isolated documents and applications, DreamEngine treats it as a living structure that can be explored, developed, and revised.
DreamEngine simulates how the dream behaves.
It models the relationships between people, systems, rules, resources, events, environments, and possible outcomes.
This allows the dream to be tested before, during, and after development.
The simulation can reveal conflicts, dependencies, weaknesses, opportunities, and consequences that are difficult to see through conventional planning tools.
The purpose of DreamEngine is to help people develop ideas that are too large, interconnected, or unconventional for ordinary project-management systems.
The long-term vision is a platform where a dream can be planned, simulated, experienced, developed, and published through the same underlying structure.
Different interfaces can present different parts of the dream.
A website may present it as information.
A control surface may present it as a system.
A simulation may present it as a process.
An RPG may present it as an experience.
The RPG layer is not the foundation of DreamEngine. It is one method for introducing people to the structure, language, roles, and logic of a dream by allowing them to enter and experience it.
DreamEngine is currently in development.
The first implementation is being built as a modular web platform using WordPress, interactive media, simulation systems, automation, artificial intelligence, and community infrastructure.
Development notes, demonstrations, modules, and public releases will be published here as the engine takes shape.
DreamEngine is developed by HDH Productions.
DreamEngine will require developers, artists, designers, writers, researchers, testers, system architects, and people developing dreams of their own.
Contribution opportunities will be published as defined modules, experiments, and development tasks.
More information about the developer and the wider project can be found at HDH Productions.
